Ashford Landing
Ashford Landing is the second 9% LIHTC development for the Housing Authority of DeKalb County (HADC). Built as Phase II of the former Johnson Ferry East public housing community – Brookleigh, this 117-unit, independent living community is designed for senior’s age 62 years and older. Completed in late 2009, Ashford Landing is a mixed-finance redevelopment property. Ashford Landing provides the second phase of replacement housing for the seniors that previously resided at Johnson Ferry East. This project was financed with 9% LIHTC, a conventional loan and an HADC loan. The project has project-based, rental assistance demonstration (RAD), 60% LIHTC and market units. The HADC is the Owner and served as Co-Developer on the project.

The Certified Organization for Resident Engagement & Services (CORES) Certification recognizes owners and organizations that have developed a robust commitment, capacity, and competency in providing resident services coordination in affordable housing communities.
