The Housing Authority of DeKalb County (HADC) Project-Based Voucher Waiting Lists for The View and Reserve at Mills Creek “Elderly” (62+) Communities will open on June 17, 2022. Eligible individuals must apply by completing an ONLINE pre-application at www.dekalbhousing.org during the Waiting List open application period.
November 4, 2021 - The Housing Authority of DeKalb County (HADC) and the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) celebrate Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting for Starnes Senior Residences in Clarkston. Starnes Senior Residences is a 128-unit new construction senior community built and designed for independent seniors aged 62 and older. The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) served as the lead co-developer on this project, alongside the Beverly J. Searles Foundation.
November 8, 2018 - The Housing Authority of DeKalb County (HADC) is excited to open its Housing Choice Voucher Program Tenant-Based (commonly known as Section 8) Waiting List. This program provides rental assistance to eligible low-income families, seniors and persons with disabilities. Interested persons must apply by completing an online application at www.dekalbhousing.org. The Tenant-Based Waiting List will open Tuesday, December 11, 2018 and will close Thursday, December 13, 2018.

May 25, 2017 - Housing Authority of DeKalb County and Housing Development Corporation released Community Transformation Plan: The Towns at Mills Creek, outlining a process by which neighborhood-level change can be initiated through the coordinated work of community partners to improve the availability of health, education, employment, and transportation services.
May 20, 2015 - HADC's nonprofit affilitate, Resident Services Corporation of DeKalb, selected by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) to participate in the federal agency's Financial Coaching Initiative.
